Poking around the Christians in the Visual Arts (a.k.a CIVA) was...Interesting? I'm not sure what it was. But the CIVA is an organization like so many others that provides resources, inspiration, and various opportunities for visual artists. So what's so special about this organization? What sets it apart you ask? Well it's all in the name. Christians for the Visual Arts. It's an organization for artists who blend their artwork with their religion. It reminds me strongly of a woman I met in down town Bloomington a few weeks ago on the F1rst Friday event down town puts on. Angel Buchberger of Angel Ambrose studio is very much what one would think of when thinking of an artist who may belong to the CIVA. Go check out her site : Angel Ambrose Studio
Anyway, the CIVA is another organization that helps out the artists of the world and we're all very thankful they do.
